The most challenging and advanced repairs being undertaken on laptops are BGA repairs.

The most common form of BGA repairs are done on the laptops graphics chip.  Laptop graphics chips are integrated into the laptop motherboard and require specialist tools, knowledge and skill to repair.

This has been a very common problem for many laptops over the last few years and is more often than not related to issues with the laptop GPU. Unlike many other repair centers, we have the specialist equipment and experience needed to repair these Graphics faults first time. We don't use hot air guns or blow torches that will only create temporary fixes or make the problem worse.

We only use computer controlled infrared rework machines making sure the job is done right first time.

We also don't just Reflow the chips (as many others do) this only creates a temporary fix and in most cases will fail again within a few days to a couple of months. We understand the causes of these faults and make sure that All graphics related issues are Reballed as standard.

Graphics Reballing involves removing the GPU from the motherboard and resoldering with fresh solder prelonging the life of the chip and laptop.
